format_list_bulletedAbout this section add remove
The cardiovascular system and respiratory system are essential organ systems of the body and any pathology affecting them can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. As such, it is essential for any junior doctor or trainee to know how to identify and competently manage the common cardiorespiratory post-operative complications that can occur.
In this section, we have articles covering the common complications of pneumonia, atelectasis, and venous thromboembolism (PE and DVTs), but also on the more rare but no less important topic of ARDS.
