On the Wards

The “On The Wards” section provides video lectures on some of the most common presentations and complications junior doctors will see whilst on surgical wards. 

The topics start with how to approach the acute surgical presentation and how to approach the post-operative patient, before covering topics such as referring a patient, pain control, and pyrexia.

Each article is accompanied with associated text to further develop the topics discussed and highlight the important areas within each lecture video.
